Privacy Policy

BloomSpeech (“we”, “us”) provides an AI speech-coaching service that analyzes your spoken Korean or English and returns a report on your delivery and content. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, profile picture, and Google account ID. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Voice recordings. The audio you record or upload to be analyzed. Voice data can be considered sensitive personal information, so we handle it accordingly.
  • Derived analysis. Transcripts, scores, metrics, and feedback generated from your recordings, stored as your reports.
  • Content you provide. Practice topics and goals you enter.
  • Technical data. Basic logs (e.g. request times, errors) needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

  • To transcribe and analyze your recordings and generate your speech reports.
  • To save your reports, goals, and progress so you can revisit them.
  • To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your recordings or transcripts to serve advertising.

Service providers we share data with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service. They process data only on our behalf and only to provide their service:

  • Google — Sign-In (authentication) and the Gemini API, which performs the AI analysis. Your audio and transcript are sent to the Gemini API to produce your report.
  • Cloudflare R2 — secure object storage for your audio recordings.
  • Supabase — managed PostgreSQL database (Singapore region) storing your account, reports, and goals.
  • Google Cloud Run — application hosting (Singapore region).

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the service.

Google API Services — Limited Use

BloomSpeech’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features described above.

Data retention

We keep your recordings and reports until you delete them or close your account, so that your progress remains available over time. When you delete your account, we remove your reports, your stored audio, and your account records.

Your rights and choices

  • Access — view your reports and account information in the app at any time.
  • Deletion — delete your account to remove your recordings, reports, and account data.
  • Withdraw access — revoke BloomSpeech's access from your Google Account security settings.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored with reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated within the service where appropriate.
